On 9th November we ran a great workshop with a Year 5 class at Loughborough Primary School in order to get more artwork and ideas for our Lamp-post banners. We looked at key moments in local history and discussed what the pupils love about where they live.
We also looked at the West African traditional printing method for making Andikra cloths and patterns. The students created their own printing stamps and made prints based around symbols that represented local history or the things they loved about the area.
We had a fantastic day and got some awesome artwork and ideas!
